CARMEN CAMACHO LUTHER

Carmen holds a BFA in Acting and has over 10 years of acting training and theater performance experience. In 2018, she performed on Broadway after her high school won the TDF Competition, portraying the Young Woman in Machinal by Sophie Treadwell.

In 2020, she transitioned into film, collaborating with students at Columbia University on a variety of thesis films and independent projects. As the co-founder of Culture Vision Media, she co-wrote Midnight Veil, which earned multiple awards at the Bronx Film 48 Hour Film Project, including “Best Film”.

Most recently, Carmen wrote and directed Firetruck, which has completed production and is currently in post-production. She is passionate about exploring themes of grief, healing, and transformation. She uses color, symbolism, music, and nuanced performances to guide audiences through the emotional evolution of her characters.
