MIA GEERE

Mia Geere is a versatile director, producer, writer, and actress, who is based in New York. Originally from Tennessee, Mia has built a dynamic career, performing on stage as well as in TV and film. She has acted at various theatres, including West Valley Playhouse, Force of Nature Productions, and Worst Ever Productions. Most recently, Mia starred in leading dramatic roles such as Lucy in And Eat It Too and Dortchen Wild in the feature film Brothers Grimm Sisters Wild. Alongside her acting career, Mia is passionate about producing and directing, having created and starred in the award-winning short film Uncontrollable. The film has garnered accolades at multiple festivals, including Best Film at the Magic of Horror Festival, Best NY/NJ Film at the New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival, and Best Director at Glass Ceiling Breakers Film Festival. Mia’s dedication to her craft was further recognized with nominations for Best Director at the Magic of Horror Festival and Best Screenplay at NJ Horror Con and Film Festival.

A proud member of Culture Vision Media, Mia’s contributions to the arts extend beyond filmmaking. She spent several years as an actor, mentor, and board member at the Inner City Shakespeare Ensemble in Los Angeles, where she was deeply involved in creating opportunities for other artists, particularly in underserved communities. Mia’s love for performance also led her to sing with the Grace Chorale of Brooklyn. When she’s not working in the arts, Mia enjoys traveling and continuously seeking inspiration from the world around her.
